If you cannot tell by the ever-increasing list of horological and watch-related podcasts on this page, I listen to a lot of them. Because finding good watch collecting podcasts can be a challenge on the iTunes platform (and others), I have made it my mission to listen, review and collect the best horology, watch collecting and watch culture podcasts available. The best part about podcasts is that they are absolutely free and easy to use. Simply find the podcast you want on iTunes, or other platforms like Stitcher or SoundCloud and subscribe. There are many options to manage your subscriptions so you can listen in any order you prefer, you can have your device download new episodes and even erase the ones you already listened to.
Concerning the hobby of watch collecting, a wonderful array of horological podcasts is yours for the taking. From hilarious and irreverent shows like the Two Broke Watch Snobs to serious interview shows like Keeping Time with Oster Watches, there is likely a watch podcast that will peak your interest. Browse the list and start listening on your commutes, workouts or at the office. It’s a great way to spend time with other people who are just as passionate about watches as you are.
Power user tips:
The Apple podcast iOS app allows people to listen to podcasts at multiple speeds like 1.5X or 2X. The latter setting allows me to listen to an hour-long show in only 30 minutes. This is great if I don’t have a lot of spare time. On the flip side, listeners can also listen to podcasts at normal-speed or half-speed if they want to concentrate on what a speaker is saying. This is good if one of the guests has a heavy accent that sounds foreign to your ears (you know… like Australian ha ha). There are also buttons that let you jump backward or forwards in 15-second intervals to skip ads or rewind to an important point you missed because your wife was talking to you.
