Ridiculous self-portraits… done in the same hour.
My name is Andrew Hughes and I am a graphic designer and photographer in Atlanta, Georgia. According to my wife, I probably have “too many interests” including watch collecting, mask collecting, firearms, sports cars, photography, scuba diving, road cycling, mountain biking, and cutting-edge technology. Past obsessions included motorcyles, but I hung up my leathers after 25 years of riding. I miss it, but Atlanta traffic is much safer in a metal box than exposed on two wheels. Every ride was becoming like a scene from Mad Maxx. Embarrassingly, I could literally read a dictionary to entertain myself. Don’t ask me how I know that.
I rarely watch television these days, and I can often be found reading about one of my favorite subjects. I also make time to write about watch collecting, my most enduring (and expensive) hobby so far. I write the watch blog www.WatchHunter.org where I explore different aspects of my horological obsession. I previously wrote about various professional and personal design and photography projects at http://masqueman.blogspot.com but I have since retired that.
I am happily married to the loveliest woman in the world. I would not trade places with anyone. We have two Boston Terrier “children” who keep us from spending all our time at a keyboard. They are the twin suns in our solar system (yeah, just like Luke Skywalker saw).
